Weapon Farms

River District Artifact WeaponsMirage • Lifeforged • Fey • Aboleth

The Cloaked Ascendancy / River District contains four restored artifact weapon paths: Mirage, Lifeforged, Fey and Aboleth.

Mirage rework: current Mirage behavior uses one rebalanced single-target illusion rather than the old three-illusion version shown in many historical videos.

Progress the Cloaked Ascendancy campaign and unlock River District.

Visit Quartermaster Kendricks and obtain the unrestored / Faulty main-hand and off-hand for the set you want.

Open the weapon restoration window and use it as the final check of the exact materials still required.

Combine daily quests, Heroic Encounters, dig sites and treasure locations in the same farming loop.

Watcher WeaponsUndermountain • Master Expeditions • Secret boss farm

A Watcher Run uses Undermountain Master Expeditions, Crystallized Resonances, the Ethereal Shimmer and an Essence to summon one of four hidden bosses. Today this is primarily a collection/transmute farm rather than a modern endgame weapon target.

Sorrow

Summoned with the corresponding Essence. Control its movement and roaming weapon pressure.

Regret

Keep distance from dangerous healing/AoE areas and deny recovery windows.

Despair

Handle red/green chain mechanics correctly and separate dangerous adds from the boss.

Longing

Save burst for the correct window around shielding/healing behavior.

Unlock Undermountain and Master Expeditions.

Farm Resonances throughout Undermountain and convert the required ones into Crystallized Resonances.

Place Crystallized Resonances on the expedition altars before the run.

Watch for the Ethereal Shimmer encounter.

Use the Essence corresponding to Sorrow, Regret, Longing or Despair.

Defeat the Watcher and check the class-specific weapon drop.

The Chain of Scales is restored through specific Chult/Omu encounters. Each rank uses 30 Omuan Treasures plus the correct trophy.

The Tyrant is in Chult/Omu, not Barovia. Work through the lower-tier hunt trophies and lures until you can make Rotten Flesh, then use it to summon The Tyrant for the Bile Drenched Scale.

Begin in Vallenhas with Alric and progress the Infernal Reconnaissance / Rage of Bel path. The Dormant Forger's Box is upgraded with six different Metal Rods.

User Submitted Suggestion: Current player reports include the Reinforced Metal Rod dropping from smaller Vallenhas Heroic Encounters such as Preyed Upon. The drop is RNG, so repeated completions may be required.

Important: the Battle Worn Metal Rod comes from bosses within Rage of Bel Insurgencies, not merely from receiving the HE completion reward. Several rods are RNG drops.

Hunt Systems

Dragonslayer — Dragon HuntsYoung • Adult • Ancient • Modifiers • Elemental Strands

Dragonslayer progression uses Dragon Hunter Rank, Elemental Strands, Hunt Modifiers and dragon-part currencies. Ancient Dragons are the core high-rank farming target.

These earlier examples are preserved for reference. Confirm a strand drop in the live game before choosing a farming route from this list.

Decayed: Corrupted/swampy areas such as Neverdeath, Dread Ring, Barovia and Dragonbone Vale.
Frozen: Snow/ice areas such as Icewind Dale, Bryn Shander, Lonelywood and Sea of Moving Ice.
Verdant: Lush/forest areas such as River District, Chult and Sharandar.
Crackling: Storm/electrical areas including selected Well of Dragons and Undermountain locations.
Charred: Infernal/volcanic areas such as Avernus and Vallenhas.

Upgrade modifiers selectively. Decide which material or gear purchase you are targeting before spending strands across the entire modifier list. Dragon Ridges are subject to weekly progression, so check the campaign tracker before extending a long farming session.

Abyssal HuntsNarbondellyn • Hunt Modifiers • Targeted rewards

Complete Through the Tear to unlock Abyssal Hunts, then look for tears in the Narbondellyn, Duthcloim and Braeryn districts of Menzoberranzan. Hunts have Lesser, standard and Greater tiers; modifiers increase the challenge and rewards.

Rotating Chaos	Temporarily disables a random player power category; commonly used when targeting Abyssal Fragments.
Resilience	Increases enemy health; used in targeted reward combinations.
Tricky Reversal	At-Will powers can damage the player; used for selected crafting/masterwork rewards.
Itty Bitty	Reduces player offense/defense; used for selected creature/material targets.
Limited Conditioning	Reduces Stamina regeneration; used in refinement-oriented combinations.
Pointless	Reduces Action Point gain; used in Rough Astral Diamond-oriented combinations.

Post-launch revisions exist. Several Abyssal Hunt enemies were adjusted after release, so launch-era damage descriptions should not be treated as exact current values.
