π Module 32 Overview β Red Harvest Part II: The Soul Collector
Neverwinter: Red Harvest Part II β The Soul Collector released on November 25, 2025 as Neverwinter’s 32nd module and concludes the Thayan storyline begun in Red Harvest. Szass Tam strikes back against the Resistance while continuing his Ritual of Ascendency, forcing adventurers to descend beneath Thaymount and confront what remains of the dreaded Doomvault.
Players join Xuna in searching for the missing Harper Tesser while rescuing Resistance members fleeing Tyraturos. The adventure leads into Doomvault Remains, a network of abandoned vaults, caverns and Red Wizard laboratories filled with experiments, undead and Thayan forces.
The Soul Collector Campaign has a current entry requirement of 90,000 Total Item Level. Module 32 also introduced one of the most important equipment progression systems in recent Neverwinter history: a new set of Artifact Weapons that can be upgraded through the Dragon Forge all the way to Celestial quality.

π‘οΈ New & Updated Gear β Module 32
The Soul Collector introduced a large new equipment pool spread across Doomvault Remains, Heroic Encounters, Named Encounters, campaign progression, campaign vendors and the Soul Harvest Trial. The module includes new Artifact Weapons, armor, shirts, trousers, rings, Combat Enchantments and other endgame rewards.

- Campaign Equipment β additional role-based gear can be purchased using Soul Collector campaign currencies.
π Soul Harvest Trial Gear

- Master Trial Rewards β the highest-difficulty version contains the strongest Module 32 trial reward pool.
- Armor β new role-oriented equipment is available from Soul Harvest.
- Rings β additional trial-specific rings expand the Module 32 endgame selection.

βοΈ Module 32 Artifact Weapons
Artifact Weapons returned as a major progression system in The Soul Collector. Every class receives a new main-hand and off-hand Artifact Weapon pair during the Doomvault Remains storyline. Unlike ordinary refinement gear, these weapons are progressed through the Dragon Forge.
The weapons begin at a lower quality and are gradually upgraded through multiple rarity tiers. Later progression allows the pair to reach Celestial quality, making them one of Module 32’s most important long-term equipment goals.
π₯ Dragon Forge Upgrade Materials
| Material | Main Source | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Deepblossom Dust | Doomvault Remains exploration and Module 32 activities | Core material used to upgrade the new Artifact Weapons at the Dragon Forge. |
| Thayan Research Tokens | Named / miniboss enemies and the Endless Experiment activity | Required for later weapon progression beginning around the higher rarity stages. |
| Lich’s Judgment | Advanced and Master Soul Harvest | High-end weapon progression material required during the later upgrade path. |
| Soul Collector Campaign Currency | Campaign quests, Heroic Encounters and campaign activities | Used alongside other materials during weapon and equipment progression. |
π‘ Weapon Upgrade Rule
Upgrade the main-hand and off-hand together. The weapon set bonus requires both weapons to be at the same quality. If one weapon is upgraded ahead of the other, the set bonus can temporarily stop functioning until the second weapon reaches the matching rarity.
π Armor, Rings, Shirts & Trousers
Doomvault Remains provides a complete equipment progression path rather than only weapons. Players can improve most major equipment slots through the campaign and zone activities.
| Equipment Slot | Primary Module 32 Source | Farming Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Head | Soul Collector Campaign Store | Campaign currency and progression gear. |
| Chest | Soul Collector Campaign Store | Role-based armor with different equip bonuses. |
| Arms | Soul Collector Campaign Store | Compare the equip effect before replacing older endgame gear. |
| Feet | Soul Collector Campaign Store | Campaign-exclusive armor options. |
| Rings | Doomvault Heroic Encounters / Soul Harvest | Multiple offensive and defensive options are available. |
| Shirts | Doomvault Heroic Encounters / Soul Harvest | Farm zone activities and trial rewards for different versions. |
| Trousers | Doomvault Heroic Encounters / Soul Harvest | Available alongside shirts and rings in the Module 32 reward pools. |
The campaign store is particularly important for players targeting specific armor slots, while Doomvault Heroic Encounters are useful for farming rings, shirts, trousers and currencies at the same time.
π New Combat Enchantments
Module 32 introduced three new role-focused Combat Enchantments. Each is designed around a specific combat role and can be upgraded through the normal enchantment quality system.
βοΈ Shifting Shards β DPS
Role: Damage Dealer
- Increases Base Damage.
- Provides additional Power.
- Provides defensive support while fighting enemies in melee range.
- Combat Advantage damage can build additional Combat Advantage stacks.
β¨ Fluid Aurora β Healer
Role: Healer / Support
- Improves class healing-resource regeneration and maximum resource.
- Healing a target can increase Power for the healer and nearby allies.
- Designed around active group support rather than personal damage.
π‘οΈ Shattered Resolve β Tank
Role: Tank
- Provides Incoming Damage Reduction.
- Increases Maximum Hit Points.
- Taking damage builds temporary Defense, Awareness and Deflect.
- At maximum stacks, the enchantment can release a damaging shockwave against nearby enemies.
ποΈ Doomvault Remains
Explore the Ruins Beneath Thaymount
Doomvault Remains is built from abandoned vaults, caverns, ruined chambers and laboratories where the Red Wizards continue dangerous magical experimentation. The environment is intentionally darker and more confined than Tyraturos, reflecting the hidden nature of Szass Tam’s research.
Six Heroic Encounters
The zone contains six new Heroic Encounters. These activities are important not only for campaign progression but also for equipment, campaign currency and other Module 32 rewards.
Rise of the Necrotitan
Rise of the Necrotitan is the signature Heroic Encounter of the zone. Red Wizards attempt to awaken an enormous Undead Colossus constructed from fused zombie hulks. Players must fight through the Thayan forces and their creations before the Necrotitan overwhelms the battlefield.
π MODULE 32 CONTENT
- Soul Collector Campaign: Current entry requirement is 90,000 Item Level.
- Doomvault Remains: New underground adventure zone.
- Heroic Encounters: Six new encounters.
- Necrotitan: Signature large-scale Heroic Encounter.
- Named Encounters: Important for zone-event progression and Thayan Research Tokens.
- Soul Harvest: Normal, Advanced and Master Trial modes.
- Artifact Weapons: Upgraded through the Dragon Forge.
- Celestial Weapons: Final progression target for the new Artifact Weapon set.
πͺοΈ Named Encounters & the Shrinking Arena
Defeating Named Encounters in Doomvault Remains contributes to a larger zone activity that opens portals into a dangerous arena encounter. Inside, players must fight while a deadly storm continuously reduces the amount of safe ground available.
Core Rule: Keep moving with the safe area. Do not remain focused on a damage rotation while the storm boundary is closing around you. Surviving the shrinking battlefield is more important than squeezing in one additional attack.
Named enemies are also an important source of Thayan Research Tokens, which become necessary during later Artifact Weapon upgrades.
π§ Rise of the Necrotitan
The Necrotitan is one of Module 32’s defining encounters. The creature is an enormous undead construct created from fused zombie hulks and represents the largest Heroic Encounter introduced with The Soul Collector.
The encounter is especially popular for repeated zone farming because it contributes campaign rewards while giving players opportunities to collect the currencies and equipment associated with Doomvault Remains.
π Soul Harvest Trial
Soul Harvest is the endgame Trial introduced with The Soul Collector and serves as the climax of the Red Harvest storyline. Adventurers enter Szass Tam’s Dreamvault, an extra-dimensional realm reflecting the Arch-Lich’s vision of a conquered FaerΓ»n.
The Dreamvault is divided into three distinct biomes. The encounter requires players to understand biome-specific mechanics, group positioning, timing and role coordination while disrupting Szass Tam’s Ritual of Ascendency.
π’ Normal
Accessible version of the encounter and included in the Random Trial Queue. Use this version to learn the major phases, biome mechanics and group movement.
π Advanced
Designed as the next progression step for organized groups. Advanced increases the punishment for failed mechanics and becomes an important source of later Artifact Weapon materials, including Lich’s Judgment.
π΄ Master
The highest difficulty. Master Soul Harvest emphasizes coordinated mechanics, positioning and group execution rather than relying on Item Level alone and contains the strongest Module 32 Trial reward pool.
π²π₯βοΈ The Three Dreamvault Biomes
Soul Harvest uses three separate biome environments with their own encounter mechanics. Groups must learn how each area behaves, handle its unique stun or control mechanic, and adapt when players are moved between sections of the Dreamvault.
- Fae Biome β requires awareness of its unique environmental control mechanics.
- Fire Biome β emphasizes positioning and reacting correctly to the biome’s hazardous effects.
- Ice Biome β introduces its own control and survival mechanics that must be handled without disrupting the rest of the group.
Later phases combine the lessons learned in the individual biomes with Szass Tam’s own powers and group-swapping mechanics. Communication becomes increasingly important in Advanced and Master difficulty.
π‘ Pro-Tip: Learn the Mechanics Before Chasing Damage
Soul Harvest is designed around coordination. A player who understands the biome mechanics, group swaps and survival requirements contributes more to a successful run than someone who ignores mechanics for higher damage. Learn Normal first, then use Advanced to prepare for Master.
π Bodies & Souls Battle Pass
Bodies & Souls was the Battle Pass released with Red Harvest Part II. It contained three phases with nine milestones per phase, beginning with What Lies Beneath.
One of its headline rewards was Rattigan the Wise, a spellcasting ratgeon companion created through the strange magical experimentation associated with Thay.
Because the Battle Pass was seasonal content, it is preserved here as historical Module 32 information rather than presented as a permanent current farming source.
π Other Module 32 Rewards
- Rattigan the Wise β companion originally introduced through the Bodies & Souls Battle Pass.
- Grubshank the Burdened β mount introduced through the Module 32 lockbox cycle.
- Three Role-Based Combat Enchantments β Shifting Shards, Fluid Aurora and Shattered Resolve.
- New Armor Sets β obtained through Doomvault Remains and Soul Harvest.
- New Rings β available from the adventure zone and Trial.
- New Shirts & Trousers β available from zone and Trial reward pools.
- Celestial Artifact Weapons β the major long-term progression reward introduced with the module.

π‘ Pro-Tip: Prioritize Your Artifact Weapons
If you are progressing through Module 32 for equipment, do not spread your campaign currencies across every available item immediately. The Artifact Weapon pair is one of the module’s most valuable long-term upgrades. Farm Deepblossom Dust and Thayan Research Tokens while completing the campaign, save the materials needed to upgrade both weapons together, and use Advanced or Master Soul Harvest when your progression reaches the stages requiring Lich’s Judgment.
