📜 New Sharandar Campaign
Use the Campaign Journal to begin the rebuilt Sharandar story. Progress is divided into three episodes that were time-staggered at launch but now form one permanent narrative route.
| Episode | Primary Area | Threat | Story Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1. The Iron Tooth | Ruins of Malabog | Annis Hag and gathered remnants of Malabog's forces. | Investigate the missing elven dignitary and establish the renewed Feywild conflict. |
| 2. The Soul Keeper | Mended Grove | Night Hag and stolen souls. | Push into the transformed grove and continue the hunt for the hag coven. |
| 3. The Odious Court | Dark Fey Mire | Green Hag and the final court. | Complete the campaign's escalating struggle against the three sisters. |
Finish Gold Quests
Story completion unlocks the correct areas, lairs, contacts and campaign choices.
Check Weekly Progress
Use the live Journal to see the current cap and which activities award eligible credit.
Do Not Use Module 1 Maps
The old Sharandar campaign was removed; its gates and quest routes do not describe New Sharandar.
🧙·♀️ The Three Hag Courts
Each episode introduces a new area, lair and hag while advancing the larger mystery of the Night Diamond. The episodic labels remain useful even though players no longer wait for a real-world release date between chapters.
The Iron Tooth
The Annis Hag commands brutal forces in the Ruins of Malabog. Learn the renewed campaign structure and reclaim the first threatened territory.
The Soul Keeper
The Night Hag turns the conflict toward captured souls and the Mended Grove, expanding both story and repeatable activities.
The Odious Court
The Green Hag's Dark Fey Mire completes the three-court arc and brings the campaign toward its final confrontation.
Night Diamond
Fragments of this powerful object connect the episode stories and the dangerous expedition into the Vault of Stars.
Hag Lairs
Private lairs resolve each area's major threat. Follow the active story quest to enter the correct version.
Evolving Hub
New Sharandar functions as the social center linking contacts, campaign tasks, vendors and travel to each episode area.
🗺️ New Sharandar Zones & Travel
The campaign uses a central social hub and three major adventure areas. If a gate or destination is closed, the missing requirement is usually an episode story step rather than a hidden entrance.
| Location | Role | Travel Check |
|---|---|---|
| New Sharandar | Social hub, campaign contacts, vendors and episode gateways. | Return here when the Journal says to report rather than searching the combat map. |
| Ruins of Malabog | Episode 1 adventure area and Annis Hag conflict. | Complete The Iron Tooth introduction. |
| Mended Grove | Episode 2 area shaped by the Soul Keeper story. | Advance the campaign to the second episode. |
| Dark Fey Mire | Episode 3 area and Odious Court territory. | Finish the required earlier episode milestones. |
| Vault of Stars | Endgame dungeon in the Gloaming Court. | Use the queue and live access requirement, not a zone gate. |
🌿 Heroics, Bounties & Farming
Sharandar's repeatable loop combines campaign tasks, Heroic Encounters, bounties and area-specific objectives. A strong route groups activities inside one episode area before returning to the hub.
| Activity | Use | Efficiency Tip |
|---|---|---|
| Campaign Quests | Permanent unlocks and weekly progress. | Complete story requirements before grinding. |
| Heroic Encounters | Public combat, campaign credit and reward chances. | Read the full objective and remain until completion. |
| Bounties / Targets | Named enemies and targeted repeatable rewards. | Verify the target's current area and respawn behavior. |
| Area Tasks | Episode-specific progress and currencies. | Stack tasks within the same map. |
| Vault of Stars | Dungeon-specific equipment and achievements. | Confirm the queue tier and chest source first. |
Instance Awareness
A named enemy or Heroic may be unavailable because another group just completed it; compare instances when possible.
Current Source Check
Old Sharandar reward lists are especially easy to confuse with the retired Module 1 campaign.
🌌 Vault of Stars Dungeon
The Vault of Stars lies within the Gloaming Court of the Queen of Air and Darkness. Adventurers seek a fragment of the Night Diamond, but the path is built around coordinated movement, environmental awareness and demanding boss mechanics.
| Preparation | During the Run | After the Run |
|---|---|---|
| Select the live queue and confirm access. | Stay alert to arena edges, dangerous ground and forced movement. | Confirm which chest or boss awards the target item. |
| Bring a role-appropriate build and consumables. | Resolve mechanics before returning to maximum damage. | Check binding and equip effect before upgrading a drop. |
| Agree on explanations if anyone is learning. | Keep the group together between encounters and revive safely. | Use rerolls only after checking the live reward pool. |
Mechanics First
Vault of Stars punishes players who tunnel on damage while ignoring movement, targets or arena conditions.
Role Coordination
Tank positioning, healer timing and damage-player mechanic response must work together.
Practice With Purpose
A learning run should explicitly allow explanation and recovery instead of pretending to be a speed farm.
🛡️ Campaign & Dungeon Rewards
New Sharandar introduced campaign armor, artifacts, companions and Vault of Stars drops. Many launch favorites remain recognizable, but modern usefulness depends on the current effect and build.
| Source | Reward Category | Verify |
|---|---|---|
| Episode Campaign | Milestone rewards, boons and area unlocks. | Current Journal costs and character completion. |
| Heroic Encounters | Zone reward pools and campaign credit. | Area, encounter size and participation. |
| Bounties | Target-specific and repeatable rewards. | Named target and current drop table. |
| Campaign Store | Unlocked equipment and supplies. | Currency, rank and purchase limit. |
| Vault of Stars | Dungeon gear, achievements and chest rewards. | Boss/chest source, tier and reroll cost. |
Effects Over Age
Some older pieces stay useful because of a unique effect; others have been surpassed despite higher historical prestige.
Confirm Before Upgrading
Compare role value, trigger reliability and stat tradeoffs before spending refinement resources.
🕰️ Original vs. New Sharandar
Module 20 removed the original Fury of the Feywild Sharandar campaign and replaced it with New Sharandar. Old guides can still preserve history, but their maps, currencies, vendors and progression steps may no longer exist.
| Original Sharandar | New Sharandar | How to Avoid Confusion |
|---|---|---|
| Introduced with Module 1: Fury of the Feywild. | Introduced with Module 20: Sharandar. | Check the guide date and screenshots. |
| Used the retired original campaign structure and locations. | Uses the three-episode hag campaign. | Follow the current Campaign Journal. |
| Old currencies, tasks and gates may be referenced online. | Current live currencies and tasks appear in the modern Journal. | Do not farm an item until its present source is confirmed. |
| Historical guides may use familiar names differently. | New Sharandar has Ruins of Malabog, Mended Grove and Dark Fey Mire. | Open maintained maps for the active zone. |
