Stronghold Introduction
A Stronghold is the home of a Neverwinter guild. It contains the Guild Hall, Stronghold Coffer, Marketplace, structures, vendors, quests, Heroic Encounters and other systems that allow guild members to work together to improve their guild.
What Is a Stronghold?
The Stronghold is a large guild-controlled area where members can complete quests, participate in Heroic Encounters, donate resources, earn Guild Marks and help construct or upgrade guild structures.
Stronghold progression is a group effort. Members contribute resources to the guild while guild leadership determines which structures and upgrades are needed next.
As the Stronghold grows, additional structures, vendors, bonuses and guild benefits become available.
Main Stronghold Areas
Guild Hall
The Guild Hall is the central structure of the Stronghold. Its level is one of the major measures of Stronghold progression and determines which additional structures and upgrades the guild can work toward.
Stronghold Coffer
The Coffer is where guild members donate resources needed for Stronghold construction and upgrades. Donations may also award Guild Marks depending on the resource being contributed.
Marketplace
The Marketplace contains Stronghold vendors and provides access to items that can be purchased with currencies such as Guild Marks and other Stronghold-related resources.
Stronghold Structures
Strongholds contain building plots where different structures can be constructed. The structures chosen by a guild affect progression, resources, available benefits and guild boons.
Production structures generate resources used by the Stronghold. Some require guild members to visit and tend them so production continues efficiently.
Support structures provide additional services or benefits that assist Stronghold development and guild activity.
Boon structures unlock guild boons that members can select and use while they belong to the guild.
Certain structures are connected to Stronghold PvP systems and related guild activities.
Temporary structures may provide limited or rotating Stronghold services and benefits depending on the structure currently available to the guild.
Stronghold Boons
One of the major benefits of belonging to a developed guild is access to Stronghold boons. Boon structures provide bonuses that guild members can select for their characters. As those structures are improved, stronger boon options may become available.
Stronghold Quests
Several NPCs throughout the Stronghold provide quests that help guild members earn resources used for Stronghold progression.
These quests can involve activities inside the Stronghold as well as tasks completed elsewhere in Neverwinter. Their rewards may include resources such as Shards of Power, Influence or other items needed by the guild.
Members who want to help their guild grow should make Stronghold quests part of their regular routine.
